The Mountain Metis Nation Association of Alberta retained Solis Architecture to complete the design of their new cultural centre in Grande Cache. The building consists of a Grand Hall, Interpretative Centre, office spaces, a commercial kitchen, and support spaces. The use of logs as part of the construction draws homage to their ancestors, which a part of a hybridized structure including peaked dormers to reflect the mountainous landscape. 

The landscape design was integrated into the civil work with drainage paths between the rows of parking to help manage the stormwater, and planting was specific to create a naturalized local planting that would be resilient to the harsh mountain climate of Grande Cache.
