“Now that our project is complete, I wanted to express my gratitude to you and your team.
It was a pleasure working with you. Even though we encountered some challenges along the way, your team always provided solutions.
Your consistent availability for calls meant a lot to me, and the project was completed on time and on budget because of your quick actions.”
602 Patricia Street is the first commercial rebuild to be completed after the devastating wildfire that destroyed one-third of the town of Jasper in 2024. 602 was not destroyed by the fire, but was pulled down by the structural firefighters to create a natural fire break to prevent the fire from extending further into the town.
Solis worked hard on the design and came up with a modern design for the front elevation that we dubbed ‘a mountain within a mountain’. A peaked gable above the main entry that punches through the angled canopy that draws the eye towards the centre of the building and the main entry to the two tenants.
Due to the revised regulations for the combustible material, the exterior canopy was constructed out of metal cladding and non-combustible construction.
The main structure of the building is gluelam beams and GLT panels.
